InSinkErator® uses London taxis to promote bottled water alternative

InSinkErator® has broadened its marketing activities with a London taxi advertising campaign to support the reduction of single-use plastic waste.

The company has decorated the exterior and interior of two London taxi cabs with ads displaying its range of 4N1 Touch taps, which offer the benefit of instant filtered water readily available in the home, reducing the need to purchase bottled water.

The two taxis will travel through the streets of London for a total of four weeks, increasing the exposure and awareness for the brand, thereby driving footfall for retail partners.

Of the 35.8 million plastic bottles used every day in the UK, 16 million of them are not recycled, ending up in landfill or in the ocean, where they adversely affect sea-life and the environment.

InSinkErator®’s Anne Kaarlela, Marketing Communications Manager, Europe and Russia said: “We will continue to encourage the use of refillable drinking bottles instead of plastic bottles and are committed to providing lifestyle-enhancing solutions, such as our 4N1 Touch tap, for our customers.

“Advertising InSinkErator® on two London taxis offers us great exposure that will attract consumer attention. We hope this campaign will also increase footfall for our kitchen specialist retailers by displaying the 4N1 Touch tap, part of the exclusive Showroom Collection.”
