Invision MD announces retirement

Steve Beahan, founder and managing director of technology distributor Invision UK, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Midwich Group plc, is to retire after more than 17 years at the head of the company he founded in 2002.

He will be succeeded by commercial director Mark Taylor, who will take on the role during the second half of this year to accommodate a smooth transition.

“Mark has a deep understanding and experience of our business, the industry and the markets in which we operate,” Beahan commented.

“I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work with a fantastic team who’ve helped grow the business into what we have today. I know that they will ensure the continued success of the company in the future,” he added.

“I am sure I speak for all at Invision when I wish Steve a long, happy and healthy retirement. He will be a tough act to follow,” said Taylor.

“We have some very exciting plans in store and I’m really looking forward to tackling the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.”

Invision’s portfolio of brands has evolved in recent years through the development of a number of strategic partnerships and now includes control systems, home cinema, networking and security, providing a one-stop source for professional custom installers.
