JP Distribution MD announces retirement

West Yorkshire-based JP Distribution Ltd has announced that Managing Director Tony Oates will retire from the business in Spring 2018. He has led the firm for the last 12 years.

Commenting on his time with the business, Oates remarked that “considerable change” had been brought about. JP Distribution expanded geographically to grow from a regional to national supplier, an achievement facilitated by the move from a Victorian mill to purpose-built distribution depot in 2008.

He added: “We have developed the product range via the introduction of international sourcing and own-brand product across all sectors of the business. Our customer base is the largest we have ever supplied and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their support during my time with the company.”
