KBBG initiative offers price discounts to NHS staff

The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) has launched an initiative encouraging its members to offer a special ‘thank you’ discount to NHS workers on purchases of kitchens, appliances and bathroom products.

The Group, which earlier this month established a Five Point Business Support Plan to support members during the trading difficulties caused by lockdown, said the initiative, ‘Support our NHS’, enables members to express their gratitude to NHS workers.

Bill Miller, KBBG Managing Director, said: “We have asked our suppliers to support our initiative by giving our members an additional discount for any order placed, between 11th May and 31st December 2020, for an NHS worker. This will allow our members to offer the NHS worker a significant discount on their order.”

The KBBG is suggesting that members feature this offer on their website and social media platforms to ensure NHS workers are made aware of the discount available, encouraging them to explore the opportunity with their local retailer.

“We understand that this initiative is asking a lot from our suppliers and members during this unprecedented time; however, we all want to show our support for those on the frontline fighting COVID-19,” Miller commented.

“We hope that this gesture shows the KBB industry’s appreciation for the incredible and continuing work by our NHS heroes.”
