KitSound brings Qi to Bluetooth ANC headphones
Kitsound has introduced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) headphones with wire-free charging via the Qi charge pad. The Qi charging facility takes its name from the Chinese for “energy flow,” which features in the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine.
Kitsound’s District Bluetooth Headphones can be charged simply by placing on the Qi charge pad, which will also charge any other Qi-enabled devices. As well as the charge pad, features of the ‘phones include up to 20 hours play time, Active Noise Cancelling Technology (ANC), 40mm drivers, a built-in microphone for call handling, foldable circumaural comfort earcups and a fabric headband. Charge time for the unit’s LiPo battery is up to 2.5 hours.
The phones have a frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz, sensitivity of 113dB, and are equipped with Bluetooth v4.2. Bluetooth range is up to 10 metres.
