Klipsch brings new wireless speakers to the UK
US manufacturer Klipsch is bringing two new stereo audio systems to the UK: Klipsch The One II and Klipsch The Three II are additions to the brand’s Heritage Wireless series, and aim to bring both style and superior stereo sound to the wireless sector which, says Klipsch, is too often populated by “me too” products.
Klipsch The One II is a small (33cm wide x 14cm deep) unit that fits easily into smaller spaces on shelves and tabletops, but produces a big sound via two 57mm full range drivers and a 114mm woofer and a 2.1 bi-amplified system. Available in black or walnut finishes, it is simple to use: plug into the mains, connect aphone or tablet via Bluetooth 4.0, and it’s ready to go. The 3.5mm input allows connection to non-Bluetooth equipped sources, including older portable music players and CD players.
Klipsch The Three II, also available in black or walnut finishes, has Bluetooth input connection and a 3.5mm input, plus the MM phono stage allowing hookup to a turntable. The USB Type B slot accepts a computer of the user’s choice. Klipsch also equips this speaker with 192kHz / 24-bit decoding, meaning that it can extract the best from high-res audio tracks. Dual opposed bass radiators teamed with the 2.1 driver array found in the The One II result in an even bigger sound that can fill larger spaces.
Klipsch The One II (£260 RRP) and Klipsch The Three II (£395 RRP) both go on sale in the UK during August 2019.
Henley Audio, based in Oxfordshire, exclusively distributes Klipsch in the UK.
