LG collaborates with Paperboyo to create ‘Paper-thin Home’
LG partnered with Instagram influencer and artist Rich McCor (aka Paperboyo) to create a ’Paper-thin Home’ at Old Spitalfields Market at the weekend, marking the launch of the 2.57mm-deep LG SIGNATURE OLED ‘Wallpaper’ TV.
McCor, who traditionally uses paper props to transform the world’s most famous landmarks into comical scenes, was on hand to host creative workshops teaching visitors how to recreate his signature style simply, using paper, scissors and smart photography. He also shared a series of short Instagram films showing how the Paper-thin Home inspired new ideas in his signature style.
“Capturing an accurate illusion takes some practise and lots of experimenting with new angles, prop placement and depth of field. Collaborating with LG has given me the opportunity to not only inspire a larger than life concept in the form of the LG Paper-thin Home, but also share my technique and passion with others through the workshops,” commented McCor.
Carolyn Anderson, Marketing Director at LG Electronics UK, said the LG Paper-thin Home was a fun way to showcase the Wallpaper TV and “bring it to life.”
