Liverpool retailer creates ‘best in class’ display for Haier brands

Liverpool-based Built-in Kitchen Appliances (BIKA) has become the first UK retailer to install a Showcase Display to exhibit products from Hoover and Candy parent company Haier.

BIKA has dedicated approximately 700 sq ft to exhibit the very best of the appliance maker’s three brands, focusing on built-in. The display comprises 35 Hoover products, 25 Candy models and five Haier appliances – a Washing Machine, Washer Dryer, Tumble Dryer and two Side-by-Side Refrigeration products – a first for BIKA as the retailer hasn’t displayed Haier models in store in the past. The Hoover and Candy SKUs include a number of connected appliances.

The in-store build was undertaken using a traditional kitchen stand to ensure all SKUs can be easily replaced as and when the brands’ product portfolios develop.

“The new area is fantastic and is a great representation of the three brands,” said BIKA managing director Steve Woods. “Haier is a new addition to our business and we look forward to developing the brand alongside our already long-established relationship with the Hoover/Candy brands.”

Sharon Hamer, Field Sales Director at Haier Europe, said: “The new set-up at BIKA is fantastic and a testament to the team there, as well as my colleagues who have worked seamlessly and collaboratively to ensure it encompasses the best of the three brands in a way that works for BIKA and its extensive customer base.”

BIKA has been providing high-quality freestanding and built-in kitchen appliances for 31 years and is a member of the Sirius Buying Group. It operates from a central Liverpool location to cover customers throughout the North West and North Wales.
