Local MP visits Dimplex HQ
Mims Davies, MP for Eastleigh, paid a visit to the Southampton headquarters of Dimplex, where she was given a tour of the company’s facilities which include a product showroom, training facilities and call centre, and learned how the latest electric heating technologies help to lower fuel bills.
She was introduced to products such as the Dimplex Quantum heating system, which has the potential to significantly reduce heating bills for electrically heated homes, the Dimplex A-Class air source heat pump and the Free-E energy management system, which works with homeowners’ solar PV kits to heat their hot water cylinder for free.
Speaking during the visit, Davies said: “It is very important we continue to tackle high energy costs alongside using the best ideas, technology and creative innovation in order to keep homes warm, cosy and affordable across the winter months. This is of particular importance to those more vulnerable members of our community.”
Neil Stewart, MD of Dimplex, commented: “This visit was a fantastic opportunity for us to introduce Mims Davies MP to some of our most innovative technologies and to demonstrate how they can help households to realise tangible benefits when it comes to lowering their heating bills.”
Ms Davies praised Dimplex for its commitment to recruitment and training and welcomed the establishment of the group’s graduate training programme, which will be introduced later this year.
