Marshall’s most popular ‘phones get Google Assistant

Marshall has announced the launch of its new Major III Voice headphones, equipping the iconic brand’s most popular headphone with integrated Google Assistant, allowing voice control at the touch of a dedicated voice button.

The Major III Voice with Google Assistant accesses the facilities associated with Google Assistant. With a press and hold of the voice button on the headphones users can tell the Assistant to play a favourite playlist, read text messages or give directions while on the go, ask for the latest on weather, traffic, reminders and more, all without glancing at the phone.

The unit delivers up to 60 hours of wireless playtime on a single charge, and features 40mm dynamic drivers that have been optimised and tuned to give improved sound characteristics. The headphones have a clear and distinctive sound without any compromise of power at lower frequencies. The design incorporates straight fit headband, slim 3D hinges and soft ear cushions, and thicker loop wires with reinforced rubber dampers contribute to the overall solid build quality.

The multi-directional control knob allows play, pause, shuffle and volume adjustment of the associated device, as well as powering headphones on or off. Phone functionality is also included so calls can be answered, rejected or ended with a few simple clicks.

The Major III Voice headphones are available to pre-order now, and available to buy from 16th October from selected Marshall retailers or online.

RRP: £149.99.
