Meaco declares “new dawn” for dehumidifiers
Air treatment manufacturer Meaco has announced a “new dawn” for dehumidifiers with the launch of MeacoDry Arete One compressor dehumidifier/air purifier.
The appliance is the result of nearly five years of development involving gathering feedback from over 2,000 customers about their likes and dislikes in regard to Meaco dehumidifiers. Arete One was created not from the viewpoint of what is cheapest to manufacture or what will be easiest to put together, but from what is best for the consumer, what will make their life easier and what will make living with a dehumidifier more pleasurable.
The MeacoDry Arete range will subsequently “set a new standard for dehumidifiers”.
Design features of the Arete One, the first product to launch:
Arete One is the quietest Meaco (20L and 25L) dehumidifier produced: 40dB and 41dB = twice as quiet as the industry standard
Medical grade H13 HEPA filter that can easily be cleaned from the side without having to move the unit
Appliance cleans the air during dehumidification or can be used as a standalone air purifier throughout the spring and summer months
Night Mode: every light is turned off, fan speed drops to the quiet low mode and there are no bleeps or sudden noises to wake users
Easy operation: the unit can change the fan speed as humidity in the room changes. The control panel is simple and clearly laid out. The buttons used the most often are larger than others – e.g. large buttons for Smart Humidity Control and Smart Laundry, either of which can be set by just pressing one button
Easy-empty water tank: Arete has been designed to make removal of the 4.8L tank easier, with two large slots left and right of the machine that fingers naturally drop into, giving the perfect purchase on the tank to smoothly pull it out. The tank can then be lifted it by its colour coded handle and water poured out from the left or right
