Meaco donates £22,000 to conservation charity

Air treatment specialist Meaco has announced that its donations to the Guildford-based wildlife conservation charity, the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF), have reached £22,000 in the space of two years.

Meaco makes a donation to the DSWF to support the care of orphaned elephants in Zambia from every sale of its top-of-the-range dehumidifier, the DD8L Zambezi.

The appliance was named after an orphaned elephant being cared for by the DSWF.

Meaco said its actions show how businesses and charities can work together, in this instance raising awareness of conservation work.
