Meaco launches WiFi-controlled air purifier

Air treatment brand Meaco has launched its first WiFi-enabled air purifier as part of its next generation air purification range.

The MeacoClean CA-HEPA 76×5 is ideal for rooms up to 76m³. It performs five air changes per hour and is designed to draw in air from all sides of the unit, providing close to 360° cleaning.

The app can compare the level of pollen readings inside the home with external readings so users can see the health of their indoor environment. A laser sensor reads the number of particles in the air and then registers this on the display, showing how polluted a room is and the progress of the air being cleaned.

The unit comes with an H11 HEPA filter, which removes more than 95% of damaging particles from the air, with the option of purchasing an H13 HEPA (True HEPA) filter to increase cleaning to 99.97% of particles.

A True HEPA filter traps dust, pet dander, smoke, dust mites, some bacteria, pathogens, microbial spores, pollens, and some virus particles.

Meaco MD Chris Michael commented: “We’re thrilled to launch this high-quality air purifier. People are spending more time indoors as they continue to work from home and the days become shorter. Creating a healthy living and working space with clean air has never been so important.”
