Morphy Richards has the answer to creating the “perfect cup of coffee” at home

Morphy Richards has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a barista-style coffee machine which has been created to offer an affordable coffee shop experience at home.

With many people continuing to work from home, Morphy believes the appliance will be a best-seller as consumers are keen to find an easily available and affordable answer to the “perfect cup of coffee”.

The appliance is designed with easy operation in mind and is compatible with both ground coffee and ESE pods. It has a steam wand and variable steam function for perfect brewing control and to create barista-style milk for a variety of coffee types.

Coffee and steam-ready lights indicate when the machine is ready to brew, and a built-in cup warmer and dual cup dispensing allow two drinks to be made at once.

The unit offers 15-bar pump pressure and can create a range of drinks – from flat white to espresso martini.  Its easy-fill 1.1-litre tank is removeable for filling and cleaning, or can be filled in situ.

Annaliese Curtis, Marketing Manager at Morphy Richards, said: “Barista-style coffee making has seen a huge upsurge in popularity – particularly since the beginning of lockdown as consumers are missing their coffee shop fixes. Combining an on-trend retro design with high quality performance and effortless function, the Espresso is the ideal addition to any modern kitchen.”

The Espresso coffee machine is available from November 2020.
