New built-in dishwashers from CDA

CDA has launched a range of seven new built-in dishwashers “packed with features to deliver outstanding hygienic cleaning.” Consumer Marketing Manager Carrie Bell said: “Hygiene is a huge concern for everyone, and our development team has worked hard to introduce features that will  achieve a super clean wash without wasting water or energy.”

There are four entry level models in both 60 and 45cm sizes, two mid-level and one 60cm top of the range.

The top of the range CDI6371  takes 15 place settings within a 60cm standard size and has an A+++/A/A rating. It uses just  nine litres of water per cycle and has advanced programmes that include Hygiene Pro, Dual Pro Wash, Smart 60-70C wash, Steam Wash and Triple Wash.

The Hygiene Wash programme operates at a high temperature and eliminates 99.9999 percent of bacteria, verified by testing from the German VDE.

With Steam Wash the heater, at the right moment in the cycle, boosts the water temperature to create steam for around ten minutes. This softens heavy soiling, resulting in a hygienically clean wash.

With Triple Wash, two additional spray arms work together or in conjunction with the main spray arm to deliver really powerful cleaning.

Direct Wash deliversdeep multi-directional cleaning, where the spray can be directed up to hit the insides of bottles and glasses, or down to bigger items .

The Aquazone spray arms turn separately, using less water at greater pressure for more effective clenaing.

Other features include fast turbo drying, half load, delay timer, antibacterial filter, easy stack cutlery drawer and easy to read white LED control panel lights, and an InfoLED beams down onto the kitchen floor to keep the user informed on progress, Selected features are used on models further down the range, which includes both 60cm and 45cm designs.e
