New Chairman for CIH

Buying group CIH has announced the appointment of Steve Scogings as Chairman. He succeeds Robin Millwood, who held the role for 12 years.

Scogings has spent 28 years with retail chain Stellisons Electrical and was Deputy Chairman of CIH for the past two years.

CEO of the group Stuart Cook commented: “Robin has been an excellent Chairman providing effective leadership, encouraging healthy debate and directing the board to conclusions for the good of CIH and the industry. Robin has done an excellent job and we thank him for his sterling work and dedication.

“We welcome Steve Scogings as the new Chairman of CIH. Steve has played an integral role as a CIH Director for a number of years. With significant changes to come at CIH, we are delighted to have Steve on board as our new Chairman.”

“I am thrilled to be elected as Chairman of CIH at such an exciting time for the business,” said Scogings. “I am passionate about the industry and look forward to this next chapter of my time with CIH and the Euronics members.”
