New Commercial Director for Whirlpool UK Appliances

Whirlpool UK Appliances has announced the appointment of John Cohring to Commercial Director.

Cohring joined the company as Channel Director in 2014 and has over 17 years of experience in the industry across small and major domestic appliances and audio.

In his new role he will be responsible for all commercial activities for the business and its four brands – KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Hotpoint and Indesit.

“My new role is exciting and challenging, at a time when retail space has never been so important,” Cohring commented.

“Online is growing and is certainly here to stay, but we know that in the last ten yards leading up to the sale the consumer still wants to see, touch and feel an appliance prior to purchase.

“It is Whirlpool UK’s continuing priority and objective to support our trade partners every step of the way to maximise sales opportunities.”

1 have a hot point washing machine , and i am unsure of where the faulty switch causing the problem
was sourced and indeed whether other machines using the same type of switch could have the same
fire risk. unfortunately my wife is disabled and there is no quick exit to our property. could you guaranty
me that our machine cannot cause a fire .
