New products launched as Haier aims to be first choice for the smart home
Haier has introduced new products in Refrigeration and Laundry as part of the brand’s desire to become “the First Consumer Choice for the Smart Home”.
In a UK Media briefing for Haier UK and Ireland, Jim McEwan, COO of the region; Milo Cheney, Product Manager for refrigeration; and Ben Peach, Product Manager for Laundry, presented the brand’s connected home innovations and the new products that Haier says “leverage the values and distinctive characteristics” of the brand.
A new refrigerator launched at the virtual event, the FD 83 SERIES 7 with water dispenser, offers customised connectivity tailored to user needs via Wi-Fi and powered by the hOn app. The appliance features ergonomic design, premium solutions and tailormade technology, and is described as “a French Door refrigerator that brings all Haier’s efforts in cooling technology development to the maximum level with the newest and exclusive connectivity features”. Haier’s hOn App provides total control over the appliance functions via smartphone.
The company also introduced the new I-Pro Series 5 (959 Series), comprising a washing machine and washer dryer which give professional results at home, with full set of dedicated programmes to ensure superior cleaning, drying and sanitising for laundry items.
The appliances are powered by patented Direct Motion Motor technology, built to last and guaranteed for life, and connected with the hOn App.
Haier said it wants to continue with the development strategy that has led it to be at the top of the Euromonitor ranking of household appliance manufacturers for 12 consecutive years, and to be the fastest growing company in Europe.
