Rangemaster launches Nexus Steam Induction range cooker
Rangemaster has expanded its range cooker collection with the launch of the Nexus Steam Induction with a dedicated steam oven cavity which uses pure steam injection for rapid heat-up.
The steam cavity sits on the appliance’s right-hand side and comes complete with a deep stainless steel perforated baking tray, a standard baking tray and a non-telescopic wire shelf.
The cooker also incorporates a Deluxe Glide-out Grill™ with four-way trivet for flexible grilling and a multifunction oven with 11 cooking functions.
The oven has a generous 79-litre capacity and precise electronic temperature controls which are accurate to within a single degree.
Two new cooking settings have been added: ‘Duo’, which eliminates the need to precook (blind bake) pastry for flans, tarts and pies as both base and filling will be cooked through simultaneously; and ‘Delicate’, a gentle cooking function that uses the fan to circulate heat from the base, which can be used for meringues or Crème brûlée.

The five-zone hob features an expansive central zone for large pans and woks. It also has a bridging function which allows the two left-hand zones to be operated as one large cooking area to accommodate the grooved griddle or multiple pans. The bridging function is easily activated and adjusted using the rotary controls.
The low-temperature settings can be activated for up to two hours: Level 1 (44°C), Level 2 (70°C) can be used as a ‘keep warm’ function, Level 3 (94°C) achieves the perfect simmer. For safety, the settings will automatically switch off if left untouched after two hours.
The 110cm-wide range cooker includes a dedicated proving drawer and a grooved removable griddle with non-stick surface. It has a sealed-glass fascia which is unique to the NEXUS Steam. The glass exterior is complemented by two LED displays, touch-and-tap digital controls and rotary dials which offer precision and ease of use.
The Nexus Steam is available in four colour options: Black, Stainless Steel, Ivory or Slate.
