Roomy & energy-saving new French door fridge/freezer from Caple

Caple’s new freestanding CAFF42 fridge-freezer has been designed to offer ample storage for chilled and frozen foods, plus a stylish aesthetic and energy-saving features.
Product manager Luke Shipway said: “One of this model’s highlights is an innovative compartment mode, which you can operate to switch off an entire section of the refrigerator you may not be using. The CAFF42 has also been designed with an economy mode, which provides the cooler compartment with an optimum temperature while saving power.”
It also has a holiday function, a screensaver function that saves energy by switching off the smart LED touch-control display panel lights and an intelligent night sensor which switches off lighting in the refrigerator if there’s sufficient illumination in the room.
Other features include an option to store bottled drinks in the freezer compartment to cool them quickly, with an alarm which reminds the user to remove them after a period of time. Super-cool and super-freeze automatically speed up cooling and freezing times and the freezer is frost-free.
The CAFF42 is fitted with telescopic rails and soft-close runners in the chill drawer to enable easy and quiet operation, and this removes the risk of the drawer not closing fully. The internal LED light has been designed to turn on gradually, which creates a more pleasing aesthetic.
This model is F-energy rated and measures 910mmW by 1,850mmH by 763mmD (including door and handle). RRP: £1,651 including VAT.
