Sharp enters SDA market

Sharp Home Appliances is moving into the small domestic appliance sector with a range of kitchen appliances and a cordless vacuum cleaner.

The 25.2V cleaner, said to sit at a mid-range price point, has a Lithium Ion battery that charges in 3.5 hours and offers a runtime of up to 60 minutes. Features include:

  • 360-degree manoeuvrability
  • LED headlights
  • Soft-tip brush tool | AnimalJet motorised brush | Narrow crevice nozzle
  • Detachable handheld cleaner
  • Available in burgundy and silver or burgundy and black

The multi-purpose kitchen machine has a die-cast iron premium finish and provides 1000W of power. Features include:

  • 4.7-litre capacity
  • Dough hook | whisk | beater
  • Add-on accessory sales from vegetable shredder, meat grinder and pasta maker  

The Breakfast Bar Series comprises a stainless steel kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Features include:

  • Kettle: 1.7-litre capacity | 7 temperature settings within 40-100oC range | quick boil, one cup indicator | keep warm function | 360° swivel base| low water Auto-switch off   
  • 2-slot toaster: Accommodates various types of bread | 7 temperature settings
  • Filter coffee machine: 1.7-litre capacity | selection of coffee strength options | user-friendly control panel | removable funnel for ease of cleaning

Sharp‘s Personal Blender Series comprises two accessibly priced 600ml models – 300W and 350W – which break down the cell walls of fibrous plant foods to release their vitamins and minerals, and are also suitable for making sauces. The containers are designed to fit into cup holders in cars.
