Siemens launches first French door fridge/freezer

Siemens Home Appliances has launched a French door fridge/freezer, the iQ700 KF86FPB2A, featuring a two-drawer freezer (67 litres) and full-width 279-litre fridge compartment. The central hyperFresh Premium 0°C compartment (80 litres) holds fruit, vegetables, meat and fish in an area of controlled humidity to keep it fresher for longer. Its full storage width of 675mm can accommodate wide platter, and the flexible interior includes adjustable door bins for different-height bottles plus two boxes at the bottom that can be removed completely if more storage space is needed.

The interior of the whole appliance is lit with premium LED lighting, and has full Home Connect capabilities for monitoring and controlling via the Home  Connect app on a phone or tablet. The SuperCool function lowers the temperature of the fridge to +2 degrees C, and the Superfreezer drops the freezer temperature to -30°C, so food already in there won’t be affected when new items are added.

Valerie Posner, Category Manager Built-in Cooling, BSH Home Appliances Ltd, said: “Our all-new FrenchDoor fridge-freezer is a fantastic addition to the Siemens cooling range. With its striking black glass cladding, it can be a focal point of the kitchen and with a capacity of over 400 litres, provides an impressive amount of storage space.”

Working noise level is 39dB.

RRP: £3000
