Smeg adds new 4-door fridge freezer to cooling collection

Italian appliance brand Smeg has launched a 4-door fridge freezer, extending its existing range of similar format models.

The A++ FQ60X2PEAI has a 626-litre total gross capacity, including an 83-litre Multizone compartment which can be used as either a fridge or freezer, depending on storage needs.

It has an automatic ice-maker with fillable internal water container, so no external plumbing is required.

Temperature and other control functions are set via a touch-control display on the door.

This model also has two separate cooling systems, one for the fridge and one for the freezer, allowing optimum humidity and freshness to be maintained within the compartments, faster cooling, a dry environment in the freezer to prevent ice buildup and no odour transfer between the fridge and freezer compartments.

Smeg’s natural BLU light technology, which helps to continue the process of photosynthesis, means fruit and vegetables will stay fresher for longer.

Other features include, LED interior lighting, fast freeze function, holiday function and a completely frost-free freezer.

The appliance operates at a noise level of 43 dB(A).
