Tefal’s Cake Factory a “UK first”
Tefal is claiming a “UK first” with the launch of the Cake Factory – a cake maker that takes the guesswork out of baking and offers the precision that brings the uniform results that many ovens can’t provide.
The appliance has five cooking programmes which set the temperature and cooking time, with the option to switch to manual mode for those that want more control.
Smart Bake technology tracks the heat curve of the bake, which lowers automatically to give desserts such as molten chocolate cake a gooey centre. The appliance also benefits from faster heat-up and cook times than a conventional oven.
Users can find inspiration in the accompanying recipe book or download the app to access more than 200 bakes including vegan, low sugar and gluten-free options. The app also contains tips, guides and themed creations.
Tefal Cake Factory comes with all the accessories needed, including easy-to-clean PROFLEX silicone mini muffin and mini cake moulds, a non-stick baking tray and metal grid. Its compact design means it fits neatly onto the kitchen countertop for regular use.
Caroline Ross, Marketing Manager at Groupe SEB, said: “Tefal is a brand synonymous with market-changing products such as the ActiFry low-oil fryer. With the Tefal Cake Factory, we want to be the brand that fuels another new product category – home baking.
“To ensure the success of this new product launch, there will be a major fully-integrated marketing communications programme in 2019 to effectively communicate the unique benefits of the Tefal Cake Factory.”
