Teka adds ceramic base microwave to UK cooking collection

Teka, the international designer and manufacturer of appliances, sinks and taps available exclusively from distributor PJH, has added the Teka WISH (ML 822 BIS) Built-in Microwave with Ceramic Base and Grill to its established cooking collection in the UK.

The Teka WISH ML 822 Microwave has a special ceramic base that provides a more even heat distribution, enabling the usual turntable to be dispensed with to make cleaning. Due to a more spacious cooking area, this model is able to reduce cooking times and therefore energy consumption too.

The included “Crunch plate” – a ferrite steel browning plate – works in tandem with the ceramic base to deliver crispy pizza bases or quiches, avoiding the “soggy bottom” that often limits the cooking of these foods in the microwave.

Finished in fingerprint-proof stainless steel and black glass, the Teka WISH ML 822 Microwave features a 22 litre cooking space, touch control panel with LED display, five power levels (850w), a drop-down grill (1200w) and 9 auto-cook menus for quick cook functionality.

It also offers a “Quick Start + 1 Minute” function, a 0–90 minute timer, a defrost capability, child proof lock and left- and right-hinged doors.

A five-year parts and labour warranty is included, and PJH is able to offer a next day delivery service on this model to most parts of the UK.
