Used Kitchen Exchange partners with BiKBBI
The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has announced the Used Kitchen Exchange, which sells used and ex-display kitchens online, as its latest Retail Installation Standards Partner.
The retailer will use BiKBBI’s Protected Installation platform to support its customers with a national installation service. The platform provides consumers and installers with financially protected transactions, insurance protected workmanship guarantees, access to dispute resolution and installations delivered independently by accredited members of the Institute.
BiKBBI will support the development of a national network of specialist installers for Used Kitchen Exchange, helping it to scale up its sales model.
Helen Lord, founder of the online kitchen business, said: “The removal and installation of kitchens should be undertaken by professional installers with appropriate qualification and experience. We know that consumers want their kitchens installed by professionals and therefore our new partnership with BiKBBI and indeed the Protected platform meets those expectations.”
