Wharf Worktops “meeting rising demand” for seam free worktop updates

UK independent manufacturer of seamless solid surfaces Wharf Worktops is seeing “rising demand for resilient and lifestyle-oriented home interiors,” and believes its patent-pending Seamtec product strengthening technology is well placed to meet that demand.

The Seamtec® technology, says Wharf, “enables stronger, thinner solid surface worktops, which reduces the volume of materials used by allowing existing worktops to be covered rather than destroyed and sent to landfill.”

Seamtec products encompass worktops, upstands, backsplashes, sinks, chopping boards and drainers which are liquid repellent and require no specialist cleaning or sealing products. More than 30 contemporary colours are available, and the surfaces are custom made and laser-cut to ensure exact fit to the angles and curves of existing cabinetry. The technology has applications for kitchens, utility rooms, and bathrooms, and the company says it candeliver custom made worktops to UK kitchen retailers after just 12 working days.”

MD Rob Bullen added: “At a time when sustainability is a vital part of the conversation, touching on eco-conscious consumption and home improvements, Seamtec by Wharf is an ethical alternative that substantially reduces the need to send the old worktop to landfill.”
