Whirlpool enjoys TV success….

Whirlpool has announced that it will be maintaining its TV product placement drive this year with further exposure in major TV shows.

The move follows a successful campaign in 2013, in which its products starred on programmes such as the Great British Bake Off, hosted by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood. The final programme in the series was viewed by nearly eight million people, exposing the brand to a vast nationwide audience.

The company has now been chosen for several programme slots in 2014, such as the recently concluded My Kitchen Rules, hosted by award-winning Michelin starred Jason Atherton and “starring” the Whirlpool Fusion built-in cooking range, and it has been selected to feature on the popular Sunday mid-morning entertainment programme Sunday Scoop, hosted by Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams.

“The Whirlpool brand has enjoyed tremendous TV exposure over the past year on popular programmes that attract big audiences,” said Trade Marketing Manager Juan Pillay. “Programmes that offer a lively mix of entertainment and food are an ideal showcase for our contemporary Fusion range of appliances with their cutting edge technology, innovative functions and a fresh, ultra-modern look.”
