Whirlpool expands home delivery service
Whirlpool UK has announced a “significant” investment in the expansion of its appliance home delivery service to consumers.
The company now offers seven-day delivery of Hotpoint, Indesit and Whirlpool-branded products, with next-day delivery available on orders placed before 6pm.
Installation of the brands’ built-in appliances, with the exception of cooker hoods, is also being offered. Product ranges include the Hotpoint Class 9, Indesit Aria and the Whirlpool Fusion cooking collection.
Karen Slack, Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain, Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited, said the expansion of the logisitics service further enhances the customer journey, and offers a complete solution and service from the point of purchase through to the final installation.
“For retailers,” she said, “this offers a considerable advantage, raising their game in the delivery and installation services available, while being able to compete in the ever-challenging white goods environment today.”

“The final ten steps of the home delivery process are the most crucial in the whole journey of purchasing an appliance; our strategy has been to realign our home delivery service to offer a smooth experience to all of our customers.”
