Whirlpool fridge freezer collection wins design award

Whirlpool has been awarded a 2021 iF Design Award for its W Collection 4 Door fridge freezer (WQ9I FO1BX UK).

The iF Design Awards, held annually by iF International Forum Design GmbH since 1953, “acknowledge outstanding products and projects from around the world split into a variety of disciplines, including product design, packaging, architecture, user experience, as well as professional concepts.”

The Whirlpool W Collection 4 Door fridge freezer, assessed by 98 jurors, “stood out amongst 10,000 other entries from 52 countries.” Design Museum, on 10th May.

Charmaine Warner, Brand Manager, Whirlpool, said: “We are delighted that our W Collection 4 Door fridge freezer has stood out and been awarded a sought-after 2021 iF Design Award.”

The W Collection freestanding American-style 4 Door fridge freezer, equipped with Whirlpool’s 6TH SENSE Live® connectivity, features a black stainless steel finish, with a generous 554 litre capacity alongside flexible storage solutions. The Convertible Space compartment can be switched from freezer to fridge conditions to provide further space depending on the consumer’s individual needs.
