Whirlpool launches new FreshCare+ laundry appliances

Whirlpool has introduced a new range of built-in washing machines and a washer dryer: the Whirlpool built-in 7 kg washing machine (BI WMWG 71484 UK) and FreshCare+ washer dryer with 7 kg wash/5 kg drying capacity (BI WDWG 7148 UK) both benefit from a design that allows installation behind a cabinet door providing uniformity in the kitchen.

The washing machine has an A+++ energy rating and features the Whirlpool FreshCare+ system designed to keep laundry fresh long after the cycle has finished by gently massaging the garments with regular slow, drum movements alternated with injections of steam. The combination of movement and steam, says Whirlpool, “allows the air to penetrate the fibres, keeping garments fresh and odour free for up to six hours after the cycle has finished.”

Also available in the range is the new Whirlpool built-in FreshCare+ washer dryer (BI WDWG 7148 UK), also featuring the Whirlpool FreshCare+ system, a Rapid Wash and Dry 45ꞌ programme and a wash to dry capacity of 7 kg washing/5 kg drying load.

The new built-in FreshCare+ range benefits from Whirlpool’s patented 6TH SENSE® technology, which monitors the size of the load, adapting the resources to save up to 50% of water, energy and time. All appliances in the range also feature a delayed start option, an LCD display and neat, subtle control buttons.

Tailang Bu, Laundry Category Marketing Manager, Whirlpool, says: “We have introduced the FreshCare+ built-in laundry appliances to enable consumers to disguise modern technology behind traditional kitchen cabinets, allowing the consumer to benefit from the latest technology without compromising on their preferred kitchen style.”
